Dr. Vishakha Kutumbale

Vishakha Kutumbale is Assistant Professor with School of Economics, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, where she has been a faculty since 2007. Vishakha completed her PhD at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya and her undergraduate studies at SGSITS Indore. Her research interests lie in the area of Open Macroeconomics and Urban Transportation. She is the project co-ordinator for UGC-STRIDE Component-1 for the University. She has been awarded MOOC for Macroeconomics to be developed for B. Com. course by UGC. She has published two books and more than twenty research papers.

Being an engineering graduate with econometrics specialization in her master’s degree, her bent has been more towards emperico deductive research. Her PhD topic was “Financial Liberization and its impact on Consumption and Wealth in India”. Her focus has been on Macroeconomic issues related to National and Global scenario. She has done a seed money project on “Potential of BRTS – With Special Reference to Indore”.
